Information We Collect

The application reads the image files you choose and the design settings you enter to generate your model in your browser. It also stores your selected interface language locally on your device.

This version does not include SWITCHMINT account registration, an artwork-upload API, or a server-side artwork database. It does not ask for your name or email to generate a model. Google Analytics usage measurement is described below.

Uploaded Content

Although the interface calls the action an upload, selected images are read locally using your browser’s file and canvas features. Background processing, color separation, previews, and STL/3MF generation take place in the browser, including local Web Workers. The application does not send your selected artwork to a SWITCHMINT server or store it there.

The application holds working image and model data in browser memory while you edit. Exported files are downloaded to your device. Closing the page ends the editing session; files you downloaded remain on your device until you remove them. Your browser and operating system may retain their own file or download history.

Payment Information

When Commercial License checkout is available, payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, not by a card-payment form in SWITCHMINT. SWITCHMINT does not directly store full card numbers or payment credentials.

Lemon Squeezy processes checkout, billing, and payment information under its own Privacy Policy. This integration is for SWITCHMINT Commercial Licenses, not donations or tips.

Browser Storage and Analytics

SWITCHMINT uses localStorage, under the key one-clicker-locale-v2, to remember English or Korean. This is a device-local preference, not an analytics identifier.

On the public Netlify website, visitors whose browser time zone is in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, or cannot be determined, see a consent notice, and Google Analytics is loaded only after you allow optional analytics cookies. For other visitors, Google Analytics is loaded by default and can be turned off at any time. The time zone is read in your browser to choose between these and is not sent to us. It measures page views, browser-based visitor estimates, referral campaigns and 3MF download starts. A download start means a generated file was offered to the browser; it does not prove that you saved it to disk. Separate cap/base files count as separate download starts. Cookie clearing, multiple devices, declining consent or blocking scripts can affect counts.

We do not send selected artwork, generated model content, filenames, names or email addresses to Analytics. URL fragments and arbitrary query parameters are removed; only short campaign slugs are retained. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Google may process connection information and derive approximate geographic information under its own policies. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Your choice is stored under switchmint-analytics-consent-v1. You can decline, turn off or withdraw consent through Analytics cookie settings in the footer, without losing creation or export features. Declining, turning off or withdrawing consent disables future app measurement and removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies. The operator’s exclusion preference is stored under switchmint-analytics-internal-v1. Clearing browser storage removes these local choices. Reports are not shown publicly. We use two-month retention for event/user-level Analytics data; aggregated reports may be retained longer.

Third-Party Services

• Netlify: hosts the public website. Loading the site sends ordinary web requests to the hosting infrastructure. Netlify’s processing of connection and service data is separate from local artwork processing; see its Privacy Statement.
• Google Analytics: processes usage measurement as described above, under Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Lemon Squeezy: processes Commercial License checkout when offered, under its own privacy and payment policies.
• Buy Me a Coffee: the Support link opens a separate, optional support service. It is not Lemon Squeezy checkout and does not grant a Commercial License. If you follow that link, the external service’s policies apply.

These links do not cause SWITCHMINT to upload your artwork to those services.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical precautions, including keeping artwork processing local and serving the public site over HTTPS. Nevertheless, no internet service, browser, device, or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device and review the policies of any external service you use.

User Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or otherwise control personal data held about you. The application does not keep a server-side copy of your selected artwork, so there is no such copy for us to retrieve or delete. You can clear locally stored preferences through your browser and remove downloaded files from your device.

Use the contact information below for requests concerning data held by SWITCHMINT. For information held by a payment or support provider, use that provider’s own request process. Applicable rights are not limited by this policy.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We will update this page and its date if the service’s data handling changes. Any notice or consent required by applicable law will still apply.
